Mel Meredith

Hi there! I’m Mel, my pronouns are she/her. I’ve been tattooing for seven years and specialise in neotraditional, dark ornamental, and blackwork tattoos. My work is rooted in fantasy, gothic and occult aesthetics, folklore and mythology (especially Norse/ Scandinavian). I’m especially drawn to powerful depictions of women, animals, elves and anything with an ethereal, moody or unique edge. I also love creating pieces inspired by music, nature, and games.

Whether it’s a large-scale back piece, a sleeve, or a simple, meaningful flash design, I pour soul, intention and detail into every tattoo. I love creating a story to go along with each piece I create. I take pride in creating a calm, welcoming and judgment-free space where clients feel heard and supported. Your comfort and excitement about your new piece are just as important to me as the art itself.

Outside of tattooing, I’m constantly feeding my curiosity. Learning about art, history, mythology, different cultures and customs, folklore, and draw a lot of inspiration from music. These passions (and hyper-fixations) weave themselves into my creative process and drive my passion and inspiration.
